We are delighted that you are considering Brabyns Nursery School for your child. Our admissions process is designed to be simple, friendly and supportive, helping families feel confident and informed at every stage.
Step 1 – Make an Enquiry
Contact us through our website enquiry form, by email or by telephone. A member of our admissions team will be in touch to answer any initial questions and arrange a visit.
Step 2 – Visit the Nursery
We encourage all prospective families to visit Brabyns Nursery. During your tour, you will have the opportunity to:
- Meet our Nursery Manager and Early Years team
- See our Baby Room, Little Learners and Pre-Prep classrooms
- Explore our outdoor learning environments
- Learn more about our curriculum, routines and daily life at Brabyns
Step 3 – Complete the Registration Form
After your visit, you will receive a registration form to complete. This allows us to gather important information about your child, including their preferred start date, required sessions and any relevant medical or developmental information.
Step 4 – Receive an Offer
Once we have received your registration form and confirmed availability for your requested sessions, we will send you a formal offer of a place. The offer will include your child’s proposed start date and nursery group.
Step 5 – Accept the Place
To secure your child’s place, parents will be asked to:
- Complete the acceptance documentation
- Provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport
- Pay the £200 refundable admissions deposit
Step 6 – Welcome to Brabyns Nursery
Once your child’s place has been confirmed, you will receive a Welcome Pack containing key information, forms and guidance to help prepare for a smooth start at nursery.
Step 7 – Familiarisation Sessions
Before your child’s official start date, we will arrange a series of familiarisation sessions tailored to their age and individual needs. These sessions help children settle gradually, build relationships with staff and become comfortable in their new environment.
Typically, sessions begin with a short visit and gradually increase in length, although the exact arrangement will be adapted to suit each child.
