To embellish our focus on Children’s Mental Health Week Brabyns welcomed a very special visitor this week.
Pebbles is a very special therapy dog registered with @petsastherapy_uk. Her owner Emma brought her in to school to meet the children as she will be a regular visitor to Brabyns in the future.
Research has shown that dogs provide comfort, encourage positive social behaviours, enhance self esteem, motivate speech and help children gain confidence.
We can’t wait to work with Pebbles across the school and welcome her as an official member of the Brabyns family!
