Last week a real elf named Effie visited Brabyns Nursery. The children had a fabulous time learning all about Santa’s workshop and what it entails to be a special elf; they even helped save Christmas by finding Father Christmas’ missing sleigh keys. Phew!
It was really lovely to have so many Nursery parents join us for this event. To treat the mums and dads, the children made some delicious refreshments during their weekly baking session. By practising their measuring, mixing, rolling, and cutting skills, they made and decorated biscuits for everyone to enjoy.
Celebrating Christmas 2022 in Nursery has also seen the children making their very own wooden reindeer, which involved them developing skills in drilling, sanding, and constructing.
You will be ever so impressed with the children’s Christmas cards that they have created and been involved in the design of. During our recent weekly art & craft sessions, they have exercised their skills in cutting with precision, following precise instructions, and using their creative flare to decorate their Christmas trees with a variety of media.
