Brabyns is ‘Super’ proud to receive a 2024 Social Impact Schools Award from #superkind – an award-winning platform for schools to bring active citizenship and philanthropy into the classroom.
The Social Impact Schools Award is based on carrying out social action such as volunteering, fundraising and raising awareness. When the children have engaged in a social action, the action is registered on SuperKind to earn an online badge.
This year children across the school and Nursery have gone above and beyond to show empathy, respect, active citizenship and charity at home, within the wider curriculum and in their classrooms; recognising and raising awareness for various organisations and causes including; Comic Relief, BBC Children in Need, Earth Day, Neurodiversity Celebration Week and LGBTQ+ History Month.
At Brabyns we have earned enough badges across the school this year to achieve the prestigious Superkind award. We are delighted to receive this recognition and can’t wait to continue our social action engagement next year!
