This week saw our debating team head down to one of our sister Bellevue schools – Oratory Prep in Reading. They travelled down the day before with Miss Evans and Mrs McNeeney and it sounds like they enjoyed the boarding school experience!
The day saw them debating subjects such as ‘This house would abolish the monarchy’ and ‘This house would be famous’ along with assisting with chairing and timekeeping other debating sessions over the course of the day.
The team displayed a fine balance of preparation & quick thinking along with an admirably competitive team spirit.
